Surveying an abundance
of independent publications, Publish and Be Damned demonstrates individual approaches
to making and distributing the work of artists, writers and musicians outside
of the commercial mainstream through magazine fairs, a touring archive and occasional
events.
This website gives an overview of the broad range of material gathered together for Publish and be Damned, from DIY fanzines to glossy perodicals, video compendiums to critical journals, described by the artists themselves.
The Publish and Be Damned Fair 2008 will be on 3rd August
at Rochelle School, Arnold Circus, and will run from 12pm - 6pm.
