/ALL PUBLICATION
The Publish and be Damned public library is a touring archive of more than 300 titles. The general remit of the archive is to include periodicals that are produced independently of institutions, and are not wholy commercial enterprises. The emphasis is on access to the material, with visitors able to browse, read or simply flick through all the publications freely.

Originally conceived to run alongside the first fair, the public library was designed by artist/architect/curator Pablo Leon de la Barra. Working in the main with artist-run spaces, as the archive travels it accumulates new material from local sources, as well as new contributions from the fairs, and artists' donations. To date the Publish and be Damned public library has received support from Cubitt Gallery, Tranzit, The Elephant Trust, Arts Council England & The British Council
